Location. The tranquil fishing community known as Shermans serves as the setting for Little Good Harbour, located in St. Lucia, Barbados. This collection of cottages is located just north of Port Charles on the fashionable west coast of the island, in a quiet and peaceful area. An intimate beach on the Caribbean, which has two swimming platforms in the water approximately 50 yards from shore, is directly across the street from the resort. Hotel Features. Clusters of cottages at Little Good Harbour are nestled around a central outdoor pool and expansive tropical gardens. The resort features authentic Caribbean architecture, and was fashioned from a converted coral stone warehouse. The resort's on-site restaurant, the Fish Pot, was renovated from an island fort, and sits directly on the beach at Sherman's fishing village with a terrace looking out to the ocean. Restaurant features include baby clams in Creole sauce, lobster ravioli, oven-roasted sea bass and grilled swordfish.
Guestrooms. The seaside or garden suites offered at Little Good Harbour feature fully equipped kitchens and private balconies or patios. Welcome packs with tea, coffee, or milk are provided. Suites have elegant four-poster canopy beds, and feature high-speed Internet access, cable/satellite television and telephones with voice mail.
Expert Tip. Guests wanting to take a break from the expense of dining out can purchase fresh fish from the Shermans fish market, just a five-minute walk from the resort, and prepare it in the fully equipped kitchen.
