The Restaurant
Start the day with a tempting selection of dishes from our full Buffet in our newly renovated Garden Terrace Restaurant, or choose from our A-la-Carte Breakfast menu.
The Bar
For a lighter choice of menu The Khus Khus Bar by the beachfront is open daily from 10:00am to 11:30pm. Bar Snacks such as potato skins, burgers and spicy Bajan fish cakes, along with those much needed refreshments, are available all day.
This well stocked bar offers you the perfect location for an amiable rendezvous day or night. Order while sitting at the bar or sunning on the beach. Our friendly staff will serve you at your convenience!
Don't forget to join us for Happy Hour six days a week from 6:00pm to 7:00pm!
Recreation
At Southern Palms there are many fun things to do. We have Tennis courts, Shuffle Board and Mini Golf. If you are feeling adventurous Jenni can book you a tour with the Atlantis Submarines, Bajan Helicopters or Adventure land 4 x 4 Tours. Or you can just relax on the white sandy beach that separates the land from the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
The Swimming Pools
There are 2 swimming pools at the hotel.
Tennis
Day use is free, evenings are $5.00US for use of the lights. George Grant, our tennis pro is available Monday to Saturday 8:00am - 10:00am and 4:00pm - 6:00pm for coaching, playing or just hitting. Come and play, this is your chance to work on that backhand or even just to get in shape! Racquets are available for rental at a rate of $2.50USD/hour and tennis balls can be purchased.
Watersports & More
For the best beach activities on this side of the island, your watersports needs are accommodated right here at Southern Palms, whether it be snorkelling, body surfing (boogie boarding) or windsurfing. For those who enjoy a little beach volleyball, we provide a ball and a net for you. Beach towels are also available.
All of these facilities are complimentary. To obtain any of the equipment please visit Cally in the watersports shop from 0900hrs until 1200hrs and from 1300hrs until 1700hrs. Rodney, our windsurfing instructor, is available for lessons on Thursdays. Registration may be done at the watersports shop.
Mini Golf
The minigolf course is a 9 hole putting range, situated to the west of the lobby. Take the time to practice during your stay, and enter the tournament on Friday at 3 pm. Putters and balls are available, free of charge, at the Watersports shop.
Shuffleboard
Shuffleboard is available next to the minigolf course. The equipment can be collected from the Watersports Shop. Let's get together for a tournament.
Scuba Diving
The scuba instructor will provide free weekly scuba lessons to our guests in the main pool.
Mini Gym
There is a mini-gym located next to the Watersports containing new and exciting equiptment. A treadmill, torso trac, rowing machine, XL stepper, inversion table, exercise bike and free weights. The key may be collected from the front desk.
The Conference Room
The conference room can seat up to 100 people, theatre style, and can be set up with tables instead. The room includes its own lecturn, separate washrooms, and serving areas for coffee, tea or cold drinks. A separate dining area can be provided in the newly renovated off the bar.
IT Services
In order to provide a better service for our guests, we have extended our wireless access throughout the property. Unfortunately, access will not be available from every location in the property due to the building characteristics. .We will however try our best to setup 'Range Extenders' in locations that would provide the best coverage for the majority of guest's rooms. For those rooms which cannot gain access, this can be done from the Lobby or in the Bar area 'Hot spots' for wireless access.
There are also two computers in the Internet Cafe that guest can use for internet services. Additionally, those without wireless cards in their laptops can use the network port that will be provided.
Presently the Banyan Block (Pool View Rooms), Palm Court, certain sections of Crescent Block and the Carlisle Block are benefiting from wireless access. A router as well as range extenders and access points have been strategically placed to provide this service in that area. However the signal will be stronger at "line of sight". This means that walls in rooms will impede the signal. The patio or by a window would be the best place to pick up the wireless signal. The latest speed test from Speedtest.net was 1078 kb/s download and 183 kb/s upload. These speeds will be affected by the number of concurrent users as well as other factors.

Southern Palms consists of 92 units with 3 categories to choose from. (...to let you in on a secret, even the Garden / Pool view rooms have a nice view of the beach and sea!). The rooms have many nice facilities, well appointed Caribbean style decor and cool ceramic tiles. Due to the variances in architecture of the buildings the rooms will differ slightly.
Every room or suite is air-conditioned and well appointed with Caribbean style decor, private bathroom, balcony or patio and all units have telephone, radio and television. Units have been refurbished with cool ceramic floor tiles, new furniture and drapery and all bathrooms have been remodeled. All of our rooms and suites have balconies or patios so that you can bring a little bit of the ocean breezes into your room.

The Garden, Pool View & Oceanview Rooms
The views from the windows and balconies of the Garden / Pool View rooms include the striking contrasts of the green tropical foliage, against the hues of our beautiful Barbadian skies. Many of these rooms and balconies also have views of the beach! The oceanview look over the ocean.

Well equipped with the following facilities: livingroom, bedroom, kitchen, desk with fused power bar, telephone with separate RJ-11 computer jack, remote controlled A/C in each room, satellite television, room safe and more.

For your convenience, Internet Travel Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.
For all reservations
-At the moment of confirmation, a 20% downpayment will be charged.
-The balance is due at the moment of check in.
Cancellation Policy
-If a cancellation is received 17 or more days prior to arrival, an 18% cancellation fee will apply.
-If a cancellation is received 16 days or less prior to arrival, an additional one night will be charged as a penalty fee.
-No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
-No refunds for early departure.
Children Policy
-Children under the age of 12 sharing the parents’ room can stay for free.
-Children over the age of 12 are considered as adults.
Liability
Internet Travel Group acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Internet Travel Group is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programs. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programs and prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of being posted on the site. They are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour / stay / excursion / car rental. Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.

In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.

All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
